Mr. Vassor is Founder and CEO of The GoldRock Group, where he is responsible for the firm’s strategic vision, investment strategy, and overall leadership. He oversees the company’s investment platform, including acquisitions, development, capital markets, and asset management activities as the firm expands across its target markets.
Mr. Vassor brings extensive experience in real estate investment management and development, having been involved in more than $1.5 billion in transactions across North America. Prior to founding The GoldRock Group, he served as President and Partner of Dantes Community Partners (DCP), where he led the firm’s investment strategy, capital raising efforts, and portfolio management initiatives.
During his tenure at DCP, Mr. Vassor established the firm’s investment policies and operational framework while overseeing capital allocation, investment underwriting, and strategic execution. He also led the development of internal technology and financial modeling systems used to forecast portfolio performance, analyze risk-adjusted returns, and guide asset-level hold and disposition strategies.
Mr. Vassor is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and African-American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP). He holds a B.S.B.A. in Finance with an emphasis in International Business and a B.S.B.A. in Business Analytics from Old Dominion University.
Ms. Fitch serves as Controller at The GoldRock Group, where she oversees the firm’s financial reporting, accounting operations, and compliance across the investment platform. In this role, she is responsible for maintaining financial integrity, supporting investment execution, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and reporting requirements.
Ms. Fitch brings more than a decade of experience in financial reporting across the multifamily, commercial real estate, and affordable housing sectors. Her expertise includes Single Audit, HUD, VHDA, and CDA reporting and compliance. Prior to joining The GoldRock Group, she served as Vice President of Accounting for Dantes Partners, where she led accounting operations for the multifamily real estate developer in Washington, DC.
Ms. Fitch is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). She holds a Master of Science in Accounting & Business Advisory Services from Towson University and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Baltimore.
Ms. Fitch is actively engaged in the community, currently serving as Board Treasurer & Finance Committee Chairperson for Parity Homes and the Family Crisis Center of Baltimore County, where she supports financial oversight and governance initiatives.
Mr. Person is Vice President of Origination at GoldRock Credit Partners, where he is responsible for sourcing, structuring, and executing lending opportunities across the firm’s target markets. In his role, he focuses on building and deepening relationships with real estate operators, sponsors, and capital partners while driving the growth of GoldRock’s lending platform.
Mr. Person brings more than 15 years of experience across real estate finance, capital markets, and asset management. His background spans over 3 million square feet of multifamily, office, retail, hospitality, and mixed-use assets, with a demonstrated track record of executing complex transactions, driving operational performance, and leading strategic investment initiatives.
Prior to joining GoldRock Credit Partners, Mr. Person served as Director of Finance at HawksBay, where he initiated and structured corporate and preferred financing facilities. He also served as Vice President of Asset Management and Finance at Lemor Development Group, where he oversaw asset management, acquisitions, capital improvement initiatives, and operational performance across the firm’s portfolio. Mr. Person has held real estate capital markets positions at Oberlin College, The Orlean Company, Avison Young, and Berkeley Point Capital specializing in valuation, underwriting, loan analysis, and transaction execution. His experience structuring and executing across the capital stack supports GoldRock’s origination and portfolio growth objectives.
Mr. Person holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University, where he received the Dean Fellow Scholarship, and a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Economics from DePauw University.
Mr. Li is Vice President of Underwriting at GoldRock Credit Partners, where he is responsible for leading underwriting, transaction screening, and credit structuring across the firm’s lending platform. In his role, he applies a disciplined investment perspective to evaluate risk-adjusted returns and ensure alignment with GoldRock’s lending objectives.
Mr. Li brings 15 years of experience spanning the full capital stack — from agency underwriting and direct acquisitions to private credit and transitional lending. Throughout his career, he has led underwriting and transaction screening on more than 1,000 deals totaling in excess of $10 billion across traditional multifamily, build-to-rent, student housing, manufactured housing, and mixed-use asset types, with direct involvement in credit approval at each stage.
Prior to joining GoldRock Credit Partners, Mr. Li held senior roles at marquee institutions including Freddie Mac, Greystone, and Fundrise, where he built deep expertise in credit structuring, joint venture and preferred equity, asset management, and capital markets. His experience spans both agency and non-agency execution, and includes a track record of growing lending platforms through new capital partnerships and product innovation.
Mr. Li holds a B.S.B.A in Finance and Management from American University.
Mr. Smith is a Senior Associate of Business Development at GoldRock Asset Management, where he supports the firm’s investment sourcing and business development efforts to identify and cultivate strategic opportunities across the firm’s target markets.
Mr. Smith brings nearly a decade of experience in sales, client relationship management, and real estate market analysis. In his role, he focuses on building relationships with property owners, brokers, and industry stakeholders while supporting the evaluation and advancement of new investment opportunities.
Prior to joining GoldRock Asset Management, Mr. Smith was with CoStar Group, where he developed in-depth knowledge of the multifamily real estate sector while providing data-driven insights and market intelligence to owners and operators. His experience managing client portfolios, delivering tailored solutions, and cultivating long-term partnerships supports GoldRock’s investment sourcing and growth initiatives.
Mr. Smith holds a B.S.B.A. in Economics & Business from Hampden-Sydney College, where he was a Dean’s Scholarship recipient and served as Captain of the basketball team.
